What I Read in March | Reading Roundup

I hope you are all safe and well!

As soon as the lockdown was announced I gave away a pile of my favourite books to my sisters to help keep them occupied and planned on finally working my way through the many eBooks I’ve downloaded and forgotten to actually read. I was all inspired and ready to try and make the best of this horrible situation…and of course dropped my phone in the bath. On the very first night of lockdown. It then took forever for my phone to be fixed and I had given all my books away, so my plan to read lots was a complete failure and this list is embarrassingly short:

The Hating Game by Sally Thorne

25883848. sy475 I read this at the start of the month and absolutely loved it. It’s hilarious, addictive and so sweet. I really can’t recommend it enough, and can’t wait to read it again. My full review can be read here.

Priest by Sierra Simone

25507389. sy475

I was so excited to start this after reading so much hype about it. I had such high expectations but unfortunately only made it about half way through before giving up. I just couldn’t get into it at all. I wasn’t invested in the plot and didn’t care for the characters.

Chasing Cassandra by Lisa Kleypas

46136239Yes, I did just read this book a month ago. Lisa Kleypas is my go to whenever I’m in a reading slump, and I can tell Chasing Cassandra is going to be one of those books I’ll read a hundred times without getting sick of it. I love absolutely everything about it. You can read my full review here.

I’m sorry that this post is so late and that it was so short, thankfully I managed to get a new phone so hopefully April will be a bit more interesting! Please let me know what you’ve been reading recently!

Stay safe xoxo
